Treasure Planet is an intriguing sci-fi Disney animation movie taking place in the far future of space, with some contrast to the novel “Treasure Island”, Treasure Planets inspiration.
It’s easy to say stability was happening for the Hawkins family. The restaurant they had wasn’t ideal but worked well. Until the safety of stability got ruptured, a group of pirates came searching for a bronze-coloured sphere, Jim (the main character) was told to protect. Sadly, due to the anarchy of the situation, the restaurant was destroyed. What mattered was everyone was safe. Although it turns out the bronze sphere wasn’t just some odd artifact, it was a map leading to a long thought myth, a planet holding the treasure of the best pirate to ever sail the galaxy.
There’s an interesting set of characters including Jim (A rebellious and resourceful teenager) Long John Silver (A devious but kind-hearted pirate, and was hard to distinguish if he was good or bad) Dr Delbert (An intelligent scientist) and many more.
The cast includes, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Martin Short, Emma Thompson, Janusz Gajos, Wojciech Paszkowski and many others. Treasure planet had 2 directors, Ron Clements, and John Musker.
I enjoyed Treasure Planet a lot and if you are looking for a family friendly sci-fi or space movie it will most likely be one of the best options. Even if you aren’t really into space, it still is an enjoyable film for everyone.
