Kiki's Delivery service is Amazing

This film is amazing! The colours, sound, characters were so unique and calming. It's probably one of the best films I've ever seen. if you like films that aren't too dramatic and are not too boring, this film is for you. This film is about a young girl called Kiki who is a 13 year old witch (a witch in training) who goes to the city to live for a year. Kiki is unexpectedly excited about leaving home. Usually everyone is sad but this is a different case. Every now and then she faces some challenges. She struggles to keep everything in check so I think it messes with her mind. Will she be ok? Due to the fact that Kiki moved to the city from the country I think she handled it like a boss. Everything in this movie was hand drawn so it's really impressive that the director Hayao Miyazaki managed to put all that detail in. In one part, Kiki returns to the countryside. I think this is because she needs to rest and feel close to home. This helps her feel serene. Personally, my favourite character was Osono's husband. Even though he said nothing, I just like how he helped out. he was so nice and cute(in a different way). He didn't just sleep on the sofa or watch telly, he cared for both Osono and Kiki. The colours in the film make you feel at peace. they weren't very bright but they weren't too dark. It was simply perfect! In the country, they were kind of pastel-ish light browns. of course the colours changed when the weather changed. There were lots of different sounds and music. In one part of the film, there was a moment of silence. this was to build tension and make you want to know what happens next. Also in one part of the film, there is a propellor and when someone's trying to speak, they're shouting but you can barely hear it. This had such a wide variety of camera shots particularly wide shots. This connects to the setting. If everything was just focusing on one thing would I say this was amazing? It's all just fits in place. This film is so calming it's one of the best coming of age tales.
