Yeah if I had to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of the Jurassic World Trilogy I found the plot so stupid and frustrating and leaves me feeling hollow at the end. in fact I have no idea what else do the people could do with franchise now! Seriously! Why are the sequels (mostly) bad?! I'm just baffled by this but here we are! Like this film didn't even need to exist! Enough of saying "old good, modern bad" let's get over with this;
What is the plot again?: My main issue with the Jurassic World films is that the first one is basically the same from the original, the second (despite being original) has some many damn confusing plot-holes the point where I'm like "What the hell am I watching!?" and it feels like the people are making up nonsensical excuses and the third basically is pretty unrelated to the theme and Dinosaurs. You think it's advertised as a Dinosaurs enter the human territory and Humans and Dinosaurs fight each other, right? WRONG! It's about locusts eating up the human's food,
say one of out audience wants to ask a question, go on sir!
The audience: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!
What is the point of locusts now?! See what I mean unrelated, it's not fitting as an aesthetic and there is no creatures like that in real life! Should centipedes be a more fitting choice because there is an actual prehistoric over sized centipede in real life called "Arthropleura".
What is this movie's again?: In fact the actions in this film is Indiana Jones bike chase scene, there is an SI-FI locusts lab scene and this shows how disconnected this movie really is. The whole point why Jurassic Park works is because of it's concept, it's interesting and bring something new to the table; the theme being that our curiosity can create risks and it's also the force of nature of Dinosaurs; showing that Humans and Dinosaurs can not live together and not because "corrupt bad" . Here the movies thinks that "corrupt bad" is the message from Jurassic Park and it makes the movie very generic.
If you think the Lost World wasn't stupid enough for you, these movies takes another level of stupidity! So, what happened to the Dinosaurs in Claire? What to the people who are getting eaten by Dinosaurs? The movie never bother to explain! The whole girl has this dinosaurs DNA thing makes no sense and makes her mom sounds like The Scarecrow from Batman (A guy who likes to scare and torture people). How dose she managed to carry it all these years? Sounds like she turns into The Incredible Hulk! It's a way that the plot could excuse something that is ridiculous and so the plot could happen! It's on power with the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy with their nonsensical and even stolen plot lines from the previous films!
Characters....: This got to be one of the most nothing characters I've seen in a trilogy because you don't care about them! Why? Plot driving I like to call it, you see my other corporate with these movies is the script. (it's bad) There are no moments you cared about them because a lot of them either don't have an introduction or just written one note and nothing. For example the girl in the second film dose this big thing, in the scene where Chris Pratt and the woman character (I completely forget names because these characters are this forgettable in my opinion) saws the dinosaurs being suffer in the gas room but she knows that humans and dinosaurs can't live together and it's a beautiful moment...
UNTIL THE GIRL REALESED THEM TO THE HUMAN WORLD! It's like that scene in Toy Story where Rex shakes the radio and falls down, instead of batteries it's bombs! IT'S SO STUPID! SHE COMMIT GENOCIDE TO THE AMERICA RACE! WAY A GO FOR KILLING PEOPLE!
I can not believe how stupidly frustrating it is! But the reason why I brought that up is because it's the plot that doesn't make any logical sense not the characters motive and it feels like the plot needs the characters to do something and underlined the message of Jurassic Park!
Remember Blue, yes she has a baby I'll give them that it's cute but I wish they used Blue more because SHE IS GONE FOR THE MAJORTITY OF THE FILM! Are we suppose to care about them or not! The film doesn't what they want to do! And also the films pretend you cared these characters but who give a fruit shoot about this damn thing!
Also I want to point out that the Giganotosaurus is now the dinosaur villain in this, the previous two aren't good the white is way over powered and just the recap from the first and the black one is just there nothing else. It's design has spines of an Iguana and is this intentionally supposed to be capturing Godzilla basics and prove more evidence Ian throws a fire stick to the Giganotosaurus' mouth and breathing fire and is this replicating his atomic breath? It's up to you to decided because I'm just saying something. (or maybe because I really like Godzilla actually, don't kill me that I've never seen Minus-one yet).
The other aspect what makes Jurassic Park works is because how scary the dinosaurs are and you feel the climax of it. Here it's just hey look how cool the dinosaurs looks and fight because why not. For example the scene where the pterodactyl decides to destroy the plane, it should have been a scary and frightening moment with our characters but no , logic doesn't exist why would it attack it, it's a plane and how on Earth did it manage to know there are humans inside!
What I like about the movies: My boy Chris Pratt is the only guy how has charisma in his performance, I'll give them that the CGI isn't bad and the locust on fire falling to the dinosaurs representing the extinction of dinosaurs is pretty creative and... that's about it good designs and good special effects but it doesn't make it up if a movie has a bad plot and the unfortunately it has one.
Final thoughts: Yeah the movies sucks! There is no potential (or waste) here and all of them are cash grabs in fact these movies are on power with the Disney remakes, most of the blockbuster pointless sequels and prequels. None of this films aren't good and makes the execution feels bland and forgettable! They all blend in together so here's my ranking the first is the worst, the second and the third is the best but still it sucks because the boring of the films is unironically the less offensive part of the movie.
Conclusion: If I had to say one word to describe the Jurassic World Trilogy is... nonsensical, it's an nonsensical franchise! It's has confusing plot points, boring characters and distributes the original Stephen Spielberg's passion and love. I'm not hating these films not for the sake of it I'm calling the studio out because it don't deserve it. You messed a person who is talented, cared about delivering a product that is worth caring about and stick with us until we passed and puts effort. You created a franchise that is Cinematic Classic Junk and honestly.... SCREW THIS FRANCHISE!
That's all every pain I gone to say, bye....
XP.....
The audience: THIS BETTER NOT BE ANOTHER FAKE OUT!
