This movie is a dramatic rollercoaster of emotion. It follows a blind girl named Ivy venture into the forest to gain medical supplies for an injured villager. While in the forest, she faces "monsters" that keep away from the villagers if they keep their distance from the woods. If people from the village enter the forest, they invade the village and warn the villagers to not do that again in the form of fear and animal carcesses. The elders of the village are secretive and heavily against the idea of somebody going into the forest and they seem to have something to hide...
I like the film because of its suspence, its tension and its twists. It made me feel nervous and excited to see what happened next. My favourite scene is when the monsters invade the village, the alarm bell rings and they all run to their shelters. It scares me and it is exciting to see if they all get there. I think that while it is dificult to follow, it is a great watch and one of my favorites.
The director, M. Night Shyamalan, does an amazing job of keeping suspence and keeping your attention. It is a movie full of twist and turns, and is a great watch for most people. It can be quite complex to follow at times.
I would recomend this movie to all horror movie enjoyers and anybody who likes a plot twist.
