Based on a true story, Documentary, Short Films
This BBC2 Learning film is a compilation of short documentaries made by schoolchildren from across the UK, as part of Into Film’s Make Film–Greatest Generation project. Through interviews with the wartime generation combined with wonderful archive footage from the BFI and British Council, it tells the life stories of some of the extraordinary last survivors from this era. The film also highlights some useful top tips for filmmaking and would be a great way to introduce film projects to young people of any age.
This film programme has not been classified by the BBFC. Into Film suggest the films are engaging for ages 7+.
