Synopsis
The small town of Derry, in the North-Eastern American state of Maine, is a fictional area that has featured in many of writer Stephen King’s most famous works. In the summer of 1989, as local children begin disappearing one by one – leaving only their bloody remains behind – a group of young bullied outcasts known as “the Losers Club” band together to try and work out who or what is terrorising the community. The answer is an immortal, shape-shifting monster who has taken the appearance of a clown known as Pennywise. As the children battle to confront this evil, they find themselves dealing with their own demons in the process, in this terrifying film about facing our most intense fears.
