Synopsis

Meg is a mixed-race 13-year-old who is bullied by her peers at school but adored by her impressionable adopted younger brother Charles Wallace, and admired by classmate Calvin. However, what Meg most wants is for the return of her father. A renowned scientist – along with their mother – his studies of Astrophysics led to his mysterious disappearance four years prior. One day, Charles Wallace introduces Meg to three strange beings from across the cosmos: Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Whatsit. The shapeshifters know much about the universe, including the whereabouts of the kids’ father, propelling Meg, Calvin and Charles Wallace on an incredible adventure across time and space to rescue him. Adapted from the popular 1962 novel, ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ is a film which celebrates family, diversity and creativity.
