Is an Into Film Club for me?

If you're thinking of starting an Into Film Club, but are concerned that you may not be eligible due to your location or the young people you work with, then don't worry; clubs are free* for all UK state-funded schools and not-for-profit youth organisations**.

* Into Film is available to private/independent schools for an annual fee. Email for more information.

** Home Educators that can group together and host a club at a local venue are also eligible to join as a not-for-profit youth organisation. Email for more information.

From Cities to Rural Areas

We have clubs situated all around the UK, and we deliver DVDs to anywhere, from capital cities to remote and rural areas. Given the incredible power of film and film clubs to bring young people together and provide opportunities for learning in a fun and accessible way, we ensure that even the most secluded areas of the nation still have access to our offer.

Flexible Into Film Club Settings

Into Film Clubs are flexible, and can be run in varied settings. Many of our clubs take place in schools, but they can also be held at local youth clubs, churches, community centres or other appropriate public spaces.

We even have clubs in far more unconventional settings, including in rural locations, where clubs can take place in cattle sheds and barns! So rest assured that wherever you are, a film club can still be for you.

Academic Learning

Academic level is also no barrier, as it has been found that film clubs have a significant and positive impact on all young people's learning, including evidence that suggests a huge benefit for young people with special educational needs (SEN).

The inclusive nature of Into Film Clubs can lead to greater social cohesion, confidence and attainment, whilst partaking in filmmaking activities can be a great way to bring everyone into the fold.
