With over a decade of experience and partnerships with leading industry and education experts, we're helping MATs embed film-rich learning in meaningful, impactful ways.
By integrating film into your Trust's learning strategy, you can inspire students across all schools - not just in one class, year group or school, but Trust-wide. We already work with over 15,000 schools across 158 local authorities in England, providing leadership teams and teachers with tailored training, engaging resources, a free streaming platform, pupil events, and much more.
Expanding our reach to entire Multi Academy Trusts allows for dynamic, high-quality learning experiences that unlock creativity and essential digital skills for all pupils. With bespoke plans designed to fit each Trust's needs, we ensure every school in your network benefits - whether through curriculum-based learning, hands-on filmmaking projects, or career inspiration in the ever-growing screen industries.
And best of all? It's completely free!
Case Study: Ark Academy
Last year, we partnered with Ark, a Multi Academy Trust with 39 schools in Birmingham, Hastings, London, and Portsmouth. Our collaboration was part of a pioneering arts initiative designed to enhance cultural education across their schools.
A key aim of this pilot programme was to empower Ark's educators with the skills and confidence to integrate creative arts enrichment into their teaching. Through our training, we demonstrated how film can be a powerful tool to support learning, strengthen communication skills, and enrich students' educational experiences. Educators also explored the impact of extracurricular film clubs in fostering a love for storytelling, creativity, and cultural engagement.
One Ark teacher said: "The CPDs effectively balanced theoretical learning, particularly in the domain of primary literacy, with an engaging practical filmmaking session […] I particularly appreciated the emphasis on specific and precise language, which is expected for children to learn through active recall."
Our Programme Coordinator for London and the South East delivered an interactive professional development day for 18 primary teachers across 13 Ark Academy schools. The training featured three of our most popular training sessions,, designed to support cross-curricular teaching:
Each session provided hands-on activities that could be immediately applied in the classroom, helping schools build a structured approach to learning with film. We also hosted a focused discussion on setting up Film Clubs - demonstrating how they foster key transferable skills such as communication and leadership while making school more engaging and enjoyable for pupils.

Filmmaking and digital skills
Teacher training and student workshops help to kickstart activity by improving confidence using filmmaking in the classroom and as part of extracurricular activity. Our Storybuilder Workshops focused on Key Stage 2 or 3 (or equivalent) break down the process of creating a story for film, with exciting resources that students can take away with them afterwards and either complete in school or through independent learning, our workshop focused on Genre, Character and Setting. Future Filmmakers Film Buff Challenge focusing on Key Stage 2 or 3 allows learners to explore youth made films and then decode their content through shot types and genre, encouraging learners to then begin to create their own storyboards for their own film building on their creative and digital skills.
Our ambitious Every Child a Filmmaker project sees students all over the country taking part in intense filmmaking programmes with professional filmmakers.
Any films made can be entered into the Into Film competitions and the Into Film Awards.
