Into Film Clubs
Find out everything you need to know about starting an Into Film Club.
This Autumn, we've adapted some of our most popular training courses to be delivered online as webinars! We're also supporting teachers by waiving the admin fee for the sessions, making them easier to access than ever before.
We'll give you the skills to use film as an innovative tool to access the curriculum, providing interactive and engaging ways to help your students catch up this term. Our webinars will be interactive, meaning you can speak directly to our practitioners and also share knowledge with other teachers about how best to put your new skills into practice back in the classroom.
Our sessions run from September through to November and cover literacy, mindfulness, careers and filmmaking. In order to access the free courses all you need to do is register to have a free Into Film account (if you already have an account you'll just need to log in). Once you've signed up to an Into Film account you'll also get access to lots of classroom ready resources, further helping you embed your learning from the session.

Raising Literacy Through Film - Fully Booked*
23 September
It is International Literacy Day today (8 September) so the perfect time to book for this interactive session, which introduces participants to tools and techniques that help learners improve literacy through film.
Mindfulness on Film
6 October
Running in the week leading up to World Mental Health Day (10 October), you'll learn multiple mindfulness exercises, via a collection of clips from feature and youth-made films in this interactive session.
Careers in Film
22 October
This session will include special guest, Yen Yau, Director of Training Programmes at The Grierson Trust. Aimed at key stage two/three teachers, participants will join an interactive session to learn about roles in the film and creative industries for their students, focused on the curricular areas of Maths and English. The session also supports schools in meeting the Gatsby Benchmark 4 ‘Linking curriculum learning to careers.'
Get into Filmmaking
10 November
An interactive session to build educator confidence in filmmaking which can then be used as a technique to teach all aspects of the curriculum and develop interpersonal skills such as teamwork and creative problem-solving.
