This year's Into Film Festival programme offers over 2,000 screenings across 450+ UK cinemas, including some of the most unique venues around the UK, and featuring a number of special events, Q&As, workshops and panel discussions.
Our programme is designed to create a truly unique and immersive cinema experience for young people in the UK. Through our special events, we provide an unforgettable cinema experience, and offer a window into how the screen industries work and the magic that happens behind the camera.
Incredibly, since we launched bookings on 10 September, over 340,000 places have already been booked, so if you want to join us at the world's largest free youth film festival, secure your free places today!
Below, we're highlighting some of this year's most exciting events to further whet your appetite and give you a sense of the incredible experiences and opportunities that the Into Film Festival offers.
Festival attendees in Northern Ireland can enjoy a ‘drive-in cinema experience' in Omagh, where attendees will create their own cardboard cars to ‘drive in' and enjoy a screening of Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie. At the Imaginarium in Newry, young people will get the chance to play and explore the history of games consoles throughout the decades before enjoying a screening of the The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
Meanwhile, in Bristol, England, a comic book workshop will accompany a screening of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

In England, at a one-off East Asian Heritage screening of Raging Grace in London we'll be joined by the film's director Paris Zarcilla and producer Chi Thai, while in Bath, a screening of biographical documentary Tish will be followed by a Q&A with the film's composer.

As well as providing amazing immersive cinema experiences, our Festival programme also looks to provide valuable insight to the careers available in the screen industries.
In London, we'll be holding a screening of Godzilla Minus One along with a Future of Cinema session with Digital Cinema Media, covering their role in screen advertising and taking a look at their upcoming theatrical slate, and a screening of upcoming animation The Wild Robot will feature a talk on big screen marketing from Powster.
Several film screenings will be joined by representatives from The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), who will speak about their role in assigning films the appropriate age ratings, and we'll be closing the Festival at BAFTA in London, where we're partnering on a BAFTA Young Showcase with a range of special careers events.

As part of the Into Film Festival 2024, we will be premiering the winning film from our Time to Inspire Storyboard competition in partnership with Swatch. We asked young people to create a storyboard for an inspiring original story - and we're delighted to present the incredible winning entry Dinosaur by five Year 12 A-level students from All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield.
