Taking place between 7-28 November, this year's Festival will see over 3,000 screenings and events take place across more than 600 venues, across the whole breadth and depth of the UK. Thanks to our partners at Fruit Bowl, we're also offering a travel bursary to help even more young people attend the Into Film Festival and enjoy the big screen experience.
Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't delay, as many events will book up very quickly. And remember - the Into Film Festival is entirely free! To book your places you'll just need to be logged in to your Into Film Account.
We're delighted to announce that the Into Film Festival will launch on 7 November with UK premieres of Future Council. The latest film from 2040 and That Sugar Film director Damon Gameau, Future Council is a playful yet challenging documentary that follows an international group of young people who frustrated by the lack of action on climate change and pollution - embark on a journey across Europe to lobby and challenge powerful leaders to take action. This is a coming-of-age journey that dares to imagine a brighter future.
Future Council highlights how important the creativity and morality of young people is in this moment. I couldn't think of a better launch pad into Europe than the Into Film Festival.

And closing the Festival on 28 November we're delighted to be hosting a special pupil premiere of Walt Disney Animation Studios' Zootropolis 2 in London, which sees Detectives Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootropolis and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.
Join us for an exclusive Pupil Premiere of Disney's 'Zootropolis 2' in London's famous Leicester Square.

We'll also have screenings of Kangaroo - which sees a TV presenter stranded in the Outback having to care for injured kangaroos - and a special screening of Wicked: for Good, the next chapter in the untold story of the witches of Oz. We'll also be showing a sing-a-long version of the original Wicked to help mark Anti-Bullying Week.
We're also hosting special Festival previews of I Swear on 11 October (in advance of the main Festival window). I Swear is the new biopic based on the true story of John Davidson and his experiences after being diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome.
And that's not to mention recent Best Animation Oscar-winner Flow, Q&A sessions following unique video game/Shakespeare mash-up Grand Theft Hamlet, popular hits like Dog Man and Paddington in Peru and multiple Oscar-nominated papal drama Conclave. With over 75 films showing across the Programme, there's sure to be something for every audience.
Adding an additional educational element to the Into Film Festival, and supporting literacy through film, our Into Film Festival Review Writing Competition asks young people to review the films they've seen at the Festival. Each of our winning entries will receive a £100 voucher for themselves and their class to enjoy.
