Raising Literacy Through Film Level 2

This advanced training builds on the introductory activities covered in Raising Literacy Through Film - Level 1.

The session builds on activities linked to the 3Cs (character, colour, camera) and 3Ss (story, setting, sound) and involves a range of new and exciting activities that provide a progression route and be used to raise higher-order thinking and literacy attainment through predictive encoding, story-boarding, placing shots in sequence, linking film and literary texts, and examining setting and genre.

Each activity is designed to help build on a learner's comprehension, analytical and writing skills.

Absolutely loved it. Did not realise how engaging it would be and how accessible it is for kids.
