Designed for youth workers, community leaders, librarians, and teachers in Wolverhampton, this training will build key skills to inspire young people’s passion for filmmaking and support their entry into the Stories from Wolverhampton competition.
Whether you’re completely new to filmmaking or have dabbled a bit in the past, you’ll learn everything you need to know to start making films with children and young people. We’ll start right at the beginning of the process and introduce you to our Five-Step Filmmaking framework, which you can use to break the filmmaking process down into simple, manageable steps. You’ll also learn how to start making films with simple, brief-based filmmaking tasks and get to grips with basic filmmaking techniques through hands-on activities.
You’ll come away from the session with increased confidence in using filmmaking to inspire young people and encourage the development of a range of skills including teamwork, time management and creative problem-solving.
This session is for educators of 5–18-year-olds. If you are having trouble accessing this session or if you have any additional accessibility requirements, please contact onlinehelp@intofilm.org
