Register for your printed pack now.

The beloved world that Hiccup and Toothless spend their days exploring is about to get a whole lot bigger, as they find themselves visiting a land once thought to be myth: a visually stunning new environment, filled with surprising new dragons.

Over three lessons our Discovering The Hidden World resource will allow students to explore and compare a variety of natural habitats and their distinctive features, including bioluminescence. Plus, as an extension for more able students, delve into the consequences of changing environmental conditions and the adaption capabilities of different species.

Students will use creative writing and design to fashion their own dragon and demonstrate how their new friend is suited to its own particular environment, helping to deliver on both the English literacy and art & design curricula, as well as elements of science and biology.

About this film

One year on from the second film, the Isle of Berk has been transformed into a peaceful home for both humans and dragons, with the young Viking Hiccup now ruler and chief of the land. While female dragon Nightfury appears and forms an immediate connection with Toothless, the island faces a dark threat in the form of dragon hunters planning to separate humanity and dragons forever. Risking everything they have, Hiccup and Toothless must find a hidden world thought to only exist in myth, if they are to save their home and friendship. This is a visually breathtaking final chapter to the film series with strong themes around courage, teamwork and community.
