Synopsis

Ferdinand, although very large, is a not your average Spanish bull. Usually bred to fight, Ferdinand escapes this life as a youngster to be adopted by a girl who lives on a flower farm and grows up preferring to smell flowers than battle. One day, while enjoying the aroma of a local flower festival he is stung by a bee and in turn terrifies the townsfolk with his reaction. Captured and sent back to the bull farm he escaped from, Ferdinand’s life is turned upside down. Desperate to avoid fighting, he and a collection of misfit animals who live on the camp set out to break Ferdinand free before he is forced to face El Primero, the famous bullfighter who never loses. This is a fun, Spanish-set animation with a gentle anti-bullying message that teaches not to judge people by appearances.

Mild threat, very mild bad language.
