When I saw this movie on the shelves in tesco's or whereever i saw it in town i thout it was some low-budget movie film 4 were just using to ean a couple of quid but my mum told me this was a great movie and when i saw it i totally agreed with her. Slumdog millionair a hard hitting movie about a poor indian boy who is acused of cheating on the show 'Who wants to be a millionaire?' and he is pulled off by the police before the 1 million pound question and in his time at prison, he explained how he knew some of the questions. Also as i have indian relatives who have told me that some of the stuff in the movie actually used to happen in india so it is very accurate in some of the things that happens. This film has a bit of everything, Drama, Suspence, romance and horror. And all of this making this one of the best movies of 2008 in my opinion. This is an awesome movie that shows that anyone can achive greatness, even if you are a poor kid from the slums. 5 stars.
