I came to watch this film only through English as we are doing it for our lit coursework. I really enjoyed it but obviously it gave me the desired effect of infuriating me at the same time (how people are wrongly accused of being witches). The only other film I have seen Daniel Day Lewis in is Last of the Mohicans (an amazing film by the way) so now this film has confirmed that he grasps his character so well and is incredibly passionate. In my opinion him and Reverend Hale (sadly I don't know his real name, but it's a shame because he should be more recognised) made the film. Definately worth the watch if you're in the mood for a tragedy.
