This documentry - film aims to expose the real working life of US fashion magazine , Vogue. It successfully does this , showing that behind the diamonds , fur coats and emroided silk the world of fashion is far less glamourous than meets the eye. Anna Wintour also features in this film and manages to confirm everyones belief that she really is the ruthless icequeen of the US Fashion industry. The film crew make several failed attempt to crack her icy exterior and find out what’s really beneath her Prada sunglasses and famous sleek bob ; with her only making one comment that her siblings find her job to be “amusing”. This is the real devil wears prada , and a realistic insight into US Vogue ; a must - see for you fashion muses out there though something to avoid if you think clothes are mereley pieces of fabric to keep us warm. What’s it about? US Fashion Magazine Vogue as is produces it’s all important “September Issue” , watch Anna Wintour ruthlessly slash anything and everything she doesn’t like and the employees at the magazine crumble under her authoritive domain. Featuring too many fashion designers to mention and enough fur to last you a century , this film gives a harshly truthfull insight into the world of fashion. Starring? Anna Wintour , Sienna Miller , designers and editors galore Verdict? 3 Stars An interesting and realistic documentry but only for those with whom the words “Chanel” and “Prada” resonate deeply.
