Sadly, this film was not as good as i thought it was going to be. A character, Carl Denham, a film director, is trying to film an animal, named Kong. Unfortunately, however, not all goes to plan. Ann Darrow, also supposed to be starring in carl's film( along with Kong)is taken away by a local tribe from the island to feed Kong. He is bigger than a house, much larger than expected. Fay Wray ( Ann Darrow)acted her part fairly well, and did do on numourous occasions her famous scream. The animations of the animals must have been good at the time, but compared to Avatar they were absolutely appalling. The idea for this film was brilliant. Although I thought the film otherwise did not have good standards. For a start the end was much to fast-paced, and predictable. The audio was terrible, particularly at the start, when the men were talking on the boat. Moreover, I thought the director never fully showed kong's love for Ann. When there could have been thrilling action( when Kong was captured) they totally skipped it, therefore missing a part that could have made me much more excited about the film. Due to all these I have decided to award two stars, as there were good points too.
