Attack the Block was an amazing film.I found this film very enjoyable, entertaining and at the end uplifting. The characters grew as the plot unfolds, some met sticky ends, granted, but the youth got to take their hoodies off and they got to see beyond their own prejudices and all the while a message is being drummed out: you reap what you sow. Also I loved the low budget effects. Especially the cool glowing off the aliens teeth and the use of fireworks. This film is a mix of horror and humour and contained plenty of action. My favourite quotes had to be "this thing is blacker than black," and the other boy goes " this is blacker than my cousin femi."
