The Sixth Sense (1999)

Amazing, just absolutely amazing. Bruce Willis had done it again and be awesome in this mind blowing film. The story begins where Dr Malcome (Bruce Willis) is celebrating with his wife an award he recieved from the mayor for being a great doctor to children who need help. In all of a sudden, a window is smashed and Malcome spots someone run into his bathroom. Unsure of what or who it is, he switches on the light just to find a boy who looks very nervous and scared. The boy then goes on to talk about how Doctor Malcome had failed in helping him. Suddenly the troubled teenager pulls out a gun and shoots Malcome and then himself. It fades out and fades back in with the words One Year Later. You see the Doctor sitting on a bench in a park observing a child who is his patient. Malcome follows him to a church where he sits down and says how he wants to help. The boy told him that he had a secret that he didn't want anybody to know. Over the next 30 minutes or so, it shows Malcome trying to rehabilitate little Cole. But then one night, Cole goes to a birthday party where he is locked in a dark room. After hearing the muffled cries of her son, Coles mum goes to investigate. After heaving the door she ffinally pulls it open and finds Cole there passed out. He is taken to the hospital where he sees Dr Malcome and finally tells him his secret... I thought this film was absolutely amazing with a great twist. The actors and actresses played their role superbly, especially Bruce Willis and Toni Colette. What a masterpiece. 5 Stars
