whistle down the wind is a classic and its black and white.i loved the movie.it was diffirent because we have colour in are movies but in that one it was black and white.it felt like you were in the movie.i loved the bit here all the children came to stop the please from getting the man. all the children thought he was jesue but he were'nt.but after charles kitten died charles thought he was just a man.well none of it because it was good all the way through.i don't know what other film compares to this one.every movie is diffirent.i think children over seven will enijoy this film.i learnt that things you can't see but you can imagine.i would give it five stars.hayley mills played cathy, her charcter is kinda of hlepful and kind, thoughtful.charles was a cheeky person but funny at the same time.hayley mills is a very famous actor she stared in this movie when she was a child.now she is an actoer in a tv show, wild of heart so she still famous.there farm was very country life like rivers, stones.they wore old fashion clothes. the film was aventures, sad, happy and there were a lot of drama parts.i would watch it again i hope you do like it.
