Cry Freedom directed by Richard Attenborough is an emotional and true story about two people who build a big friendship. They both try and fight against racism. The acting was ok (Denzel Washington) Steve Biko was very funny in some parts of the film. (Kevin Kline) Donald woods was very enthusiastic. He was very believable when he was talking to the police. I think the lighting should be improved. in some of the parts you cant really see anything . Its a bit annoying , but funny . Overall Cry Freedom is a good film . I think the film should be for ages 10 and over i rate this film 4/5 stars
