Robert Capaldi, Tom Hollander, Chris Addison and James Gandolfini star in hands down one of the funniest films I've ever seen Simon Foster (Tom Hollander), Minister of International Development, has sparked a media frenzy after accidently revealing a possible attack on the Middle East. Malcolm Tucker (Robert Capaldi), the rabid, ruthless, profane and relentless Director of Communications, sends Foster on a 'fact finding' trip to Washington DC. Completely out of his depth, Foster and his Special Advisor Toby Wright (Chris Addison) find themselves in a world of bickering beaurecrats, unhinged warmongers and bullying interns. With a fantastic Oscar nominated script and brilliant performances all round, In The Loop is a ludicrously entertaining, instantly quotable, hands down brilliant satirical take on the world of Politics. 4 Stars
