Gently observed, poignantly bittersweet indie coming-of-age drama.

I truly found this film to be very tedious and too complicated, so much so that it began to become a bit confusing. The story lines were quite peculiar, and there were many of them. It was confusing because it constantly skipped from one account to the other, and we didn’t get to know the characters very well so it was took time to realise what was going on in each segment. I don’t think the film had a very straight forward plot; it just seemed to be telling everyone that American sleepovers are bizarre in which everyone is obsessed with alcohol and being unpleasant to each other…
