What do you get if a group of disabled men team up in a basketball game in the 2004 olympics? You get Murderball. Murderball is a documentary film based on a group on handicaps that are getting ready to play for the paralympics. The film does not have a whole lot of story, but it doesnt need to have any either. There is a lot more than basketball in this. For example, you see them bond a lot in parties, hotel rooms etc. Even one of the characters has a huge connection with his son. But the film is not all fun and games. The film gets real serious at times, especially during the last half hour. Is the film perfect? No, but I do have a few nitpicks with this. Some of the scenes in this reeally can get dull fairly quick. And the profanity can get a little over the top. Overall, I'll give this film a pass, it's an enjoyable film with a few moments that will make laugh. But nothing I would want to see again.
