I thought this film was an inspirational insight into the suffering in the Brazilian Favelas. In parts it was it was quite graphic, but it was a hard-hitting documentary film. I think that you have to be quite mature to understand the pain and realness of the drugs and gang situation in the Brazilian slums, so perhaps not good for younger children to watch. It was heartwarming to see that music was a real way of escaping the crime and drug gangs and how it effects the Favelas and the people in them. Overall i thought it was a very good documentary but perhaps not as a film for the younger age groups.
