Dark psychological thriller from Alfred Hitchcock, in which two wealthy men attempt the "perfect crime" to prove their intellectual prowess.

When he decided to make 'Rope', Alfred Hitchcock took a risk. As whole film takes place in one house, and the takes all lasted for a long time and then edited together as though it was one huge shot, you get the impression of being there in the room for the whole time. The story itself is also very clever: two men who commit a murder and then shove the body into a large chest, and throw a party immediately after. James Stewart is good as Rupert the collage teacher who works out the murder. 'Rope' is a unique movie based on a real life event that I loved.
