Planes, Trains and Automobiles is directed by John Hughes and is a 1982 American comedy film. The actors are Steve Martin and John Candy. The main characters are Neal Page who is played by Steve Martin and Del Griffith who is played by John Candy. Neal is a high strung marketing person and Del is a shower curtain ring salesman who is also over talkative and clumsy. The plot of the movie is that all Neal wants is to get home to his family for Thanksgiving. His flight was cancelled due to bad weather so he has to find other kinds of transport. Neal is then blessed with the presence of Del Griffith. Some of the other people who act in the movie are: Laila Robins, Micheal McKeen, Dylan Baker, Kevin Bacon, Olivia Burnette, Larry Hankin, Richard Her, Matthew Lawrence, Edie Mcclary, Ben Stein, Lyman Ward and William Windom. I thought that the movie was really good and really funny and that I would recommend that everybody watches this movie and that is why I am giving this movie 5 stars out of 5 stars.
