Syracuse (Colin Farrell) 'Circus' is a Irish fisherman and a former drunk. He has no one in his life apart from his daughter Annie (Alison Barry) she has Kidney failure, and has to use a motorized wheelchair, and his ex-wife Maura (Dervla Kirwan). One day, he finds a young woman (Alicja Bachleda) Ondine in his net, who he resuscitates. The woman is disorientated, but refuses hospitalization so Syracuse takes her to his mothers house. Later at dialysis, he tells Annie a story about a fisherman who pulled in his nets and discovered a woman. Annie believes that the woman is a Selkie. A man is seen lurjing around the docks looking for something or someone. I think this movie is amazing and is very easy plot to follow. I would recommend this to anyone.
