Hairspray(1988)
Outrageous yet genial comedy, about Tracy, a "pleasantly plump" teen who refuses to let the prejudices of others stand in the way of her fun.

Hairspray is an 80's movie about a 'chubby' girl who loves to dance. She becomes very famous and everybody likes her. The story itself has a strong and amazing moral to it. Respect other peoples class even if they are lower or middle class. Respect both black and white people. They are the same. And most important of all, be happy and kind. Tracy Turnblad was a girl who is all of those. Follow her adventure as she gets in to lots of trouble and adventure.
For me, Hairspray was a bit girly. But because I'm a boy I can't really complain. The colours are bright and jolly. All sorts of reds, yellows and blues.
Some bad words were in the film, but they didn't bother me. Hairspray was a great film and I give it 4 stars.
