The opening sequence of this film doesn't really prepare you for what is to come; a masterpiece, I can even go as far to say that it is on the same level as Avatar. The science behind this film is extremely indepth but is protrayed to enable us as the audience to easily understand what is happening.

I did sadly find the storyline of this film slighty stereotypical and predicatable, but it cant be perfect in everyway. The visual effects literally had me stunned through the display of different colours and amazing layers of image. Prometheus is infact a ship where each detail has been considered when making this film.

I am not much of a Star Wars fan but I do feel that this film has taken a lot of inspiration from the style of the ship Preometheus; which for the older generations is conforting to relise.

Another main point which makes this film better than other futuristic films is the fact that this film is far into our future with advanced technology- but this technology is only avaliable to the rich.

I do think this is another film on the same par as greats like Avatar.
