I have to say this is without a doubt one of the best films I've ever seen. To be honest I don't have a single critique to point out in this film. I thought it was pretty much faultless.

It is about a twelve year old boy named Drai who is forced to get to grips with the biggest shock/suprise he will ever experience. He and his Mother are forced to move to China. Where he starts to feel unsettled and senses that there is something eerie about his new home and surrroundings. In my opinion this makes me put myself in his shoes, and also makes me empathise with him, which forces me to feel sorry for him. And from then on the film slowly began to draw me in and I liked that. Unfortunatly soon after they move in Drai starts getting bullied and that really didn't help with the sudden change of things. But then everyone's favorite character the quirky and loving Mr Hong (Jackie Chan) stepped in and rescued Drai from the wrath of his bullies. They become close to each other and form a compelling relationship which shines throughout the film. Overall I think this film is emotional, tense, action-packed, satisfiying and definitely packs a punch. (And a kick or two)!!
