Who would have thought it? The mighty British Empire’s grasp on her jewel nearly lost over an incident involving a Private Widdle, the 3rd regiment of foot and mouth, an Indian tribal leader named Bungdit Bin and a pair or undies. Luckily for Britannia, the cast of the renowned Carry On series are on hand to prevent a full scale rebellion and a blow which could ultimately bring about its downfall. As I had expected, Carry On Up the Khyber did not disappoint. The flood of back to back jokes did not cause me to lose interest at any point given. Instead, all they did was trigger an upheaval of positive criticism. The stereotypical portrayals of the average Brit, the Indian tribal leaders, and Queen Vic’s redcoats append to my hefty praise. On a final note, I believe I can represent all who have seen Carry On Up the Khyber when I state we are very much amused.
