A beautiful-looking, thoughtful comedy which stars Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon as siblings who are transported into a 1950s sitcom.

I REALLY liked this film with the two teenagers and how they were transported into the 50's by the TV. It was very comical and sad. It had a very good concept of everything being good and perfect and 'pleasant' and when the two teenagers arrived at the sitcom everything went down hill (as usual). l also liked the black and white effect. This film also expressed a lot of strong issues, freedom and discrimination between the coloured and non coloured. It also reminded me of the old days when there was discrimination between skin tones and what people were like. For me the concept was nice but when you read between the lines it means a lot more and its like a re-enactment of what happened in the old days.
