This film is interesting aswell as fantastic. I haven't seen many foreign language films but this one is about a subject that I love - World War 2. Downfall itself is set in the final days of the conflict, and follows events in Adolf Hitler's underground bunker as Soviet soldiers close in. The film is action-packed, yet thought-provoking, and some scenes are moving towards distressing yet touching. Bruno Ganz's performance as Adolf Hitler is admirable, and makes Downfall terrific viewing.
