Today I watched the film The Muppets Christmas Carol. It's an outstanding American fantasy/comedy based on the A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The unique puppets are joined by Michael Caine ( Ebeneezer Scrooge ) and three ghosts, which take him on an emotional journey to fix his selfish ways.

The Setting

One of the phenomenal ways that makes the film such a joy to watch is the settings. Through the film one of the main setting is on Christmas Eve in the 19th century London. The backgrounds in many scenes are picturesque and have beautiful details.

The Songs

As The Muppets Christmas Carol is a musical, there are many songs throughout the film that can be enjoyed by many ages. As I watched the film, there were many fantastic songs that were played. Overall, the amount of songs in this superb film adds up to an amazing amount of 17!! A few of the many songs that caught my eye were Marley & Marley, It feels like Christmas and One more Sleep 'til Christmas.

The Muppets

Through the film, I realised that a lot of the important characters were missing, but were replaced with muppets. For Example, one of the most important characters, the narrator, was replaced with a muppet ( Gonzo the Great ) and Rizzo the Rat, also did occasional commentary. Even though people have been replaced, it still doesn't effect how amazing the film is.

To conclude, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this amazing film and would recommend it to anyone.
