I absolutely loved this film but some times it made you very emotional. I think the story could be way more happier. The scenery was very nice as well. I did not like the dog otter at all because he was bigger and mean unlike Tarka who was kind. I did not like the eels either but it was funny the way that the otters chased the eels and then snapped at their tails. It was sad because the mother had to shoo the dad away and then the mother got killed by the hunter. I liked the music during some parts of this film because it was relaxing but then when you saw the blood bits it was not nice. I would recommend that other people watch this film very often but I would warn them that it is very emotional at parts. It is not a documentary which I thought it was at first. But then I realised it wasn't. The narrator I thought was very good at putting emotion into his voice and then when something funny was happening he would raise his voice to a higher note. If I could pick out of 2000 stars I would give this film 1999!
