With a tremendous cast and outstanding screenplay George Clooney leaves me wondering... why does he not direct more often? Nominated for several Oscars and posing interesting questions on the bias in journalism while also satirizing important political issue, this was one of the most unique movies of the decade. Shot all in a very stylistic black and white format this really does have the feel of a classic movie. This film being void of action and fighting maybe be unable to hold the masses interest for very long, but the witty dialog and on screen chemistry between the characters kept me hooked. Although the subject matter is very deep the story arc bounces around to side story's to keep the film's light pace. To be completely honest the very narrow look on politics limited only to the philosophy of McCarthyism doesn't hold much interest to be but they way the story unfolds left me surprisingly entertained. Call me bias but I think anything George Clooney touches is worth a look
