This film is an adapted version of the popular book series by Lemony Snicket, also known as Daniel Handler. Three children are put under the care of Count Olaf after they discover that their parents had died in a fire that destroyed their mansion. They soon discover that Count Olaf would do anything to get his filthy, greedy hands on the Baudelaire fortune, left behind by their parents. Violet, Klaus and Sunny go under various relatives care but Olaf always finds a way to get to them. Will the orphans ever be safe again?

I would recommend this film to both children and adults of all ages. People could really relate to the characters and imagine how they feel. This film is exciting but also quite sad. If you watched this film because you have read the books don't expect all the details to be there. I was quite disappointed when I saw the film as it isn't accurate with all the facts from the book.
