Action comedy following a ragtag group of misfits out to steal Nazi gold. Donald Sutherland steals the show as a spaced-out hippy tank...

The film was ok... although come to think of it it was not, in fact i didn't like it.

The story line was based upon something that doesn't make sense and and that's the fact that soldiers are on a massive hunt for gold instead of fighting a war.

Another thing is the fact that when Clint Eastwood and the rest of his soldier friends are squaring up to the tank the man in the tank gives up even though the man in the tank could blow them to smithereens.

The fight scenes are rubbish but hilarious throughout the film whenever someone gets shot they wait for 2 seconds and then do the worst fake death ever!

I also think that the film should have gave us more a chance to get to know the characters, in fact me and my friends ( i name no names) started giving different characters nick names so we could define who they were at later points.

If they were to remake this film i would suggest making better fight scenes, don't make soldiers act like cowboys, and explain the characters.
