Jean de florette is a very powerful story. This is trully one of the best foreign language films have ever scene. This can prove how foreign language movies are getting more popular rather than films coming from holywood. Papet's objective is to ruin a mans life by giving him bad advice on how to run his farm and claim it for himself. Eventually he would ruin the family's life.
