Locke follows Tom Hardy's character on the most substantial car journey of his life. In 85 minutes, Ivan Locke's life falls down around him as past mistakes come back to haunt him.

This film is excellent, it was brilliantly written, brilliantly acted, brilliantly directed, brilliantly filmed, brilliantly everythinged. Unusually, this film takes place almost entirely in a car, with most of the story playing out as Ivan talks on the phone. Tom Hardy was extremely good as the title character, and his Welsh accent was pretty good too. He is THE driving force in this film, I suppose it could be described as a one man show.

In fact, this film almost feels like a play partly due to the way it was shot. It was filmed over quite a few nights, with Tom Hardy acting it out about twice a night, with the camera filming from different positions each time. As well as feeling like a play, it was incredibly engrossing, so it made you feel like you were there in the car too.

Overall, this was a great film, with brilliant acting from Tom Hardy and his supporting actors.
