Citizen Kane is an interesting film about the legacy of Charles Foster Kane, a character based on the American newspaper, Chicago tycoons. Kane's career in the publishing world is born of an idealistic social service, but gradually evolves into a ruthless pursuit of power. The story is told through the research of newsreel reporter seeking to solve the mystery of the newspaper magnates dying word 'rosebud'. The film 'Citizen Kane' was not exactly my cup of tea, i thought that the film dragged on longer than necessary, but then i suppose it give the story a sense of mystery.
