Thein charaterin this film is a mischievous boy called Bernie. However, at the beginning he was getting bullied and he wasn"t very popular in school - he was a victim. Bernie is Jewish and his barmitzvah is fast approaching. Bernie has been planning it in detail for ages and unfortunately it falls on the 30th july 1966 and the world cup final is on that day. The world cup final is not only the final, it is an extra special final because it is being played at Wembley, the national stadium. He thought everyone was going to his barmitzvah but they went to the England world cup final on the most important day of his life. He said he was a boy the day before his special day, then on his special day, he said he was a man! My favourite actor is Bernie because he was humourous and he made everyone laugh at times. When he was going school he used to be the victim and get bullied most the time The blind rabbi made me lugh all the timwe lool because he let his dog go to the toilet in the back garden and he stepped in it and went in the house with the dogs mess all over the floor. Bernie said the only person who ever had a worst barmitzvah rabbi usuf because on his day he had to strangle a Nazi.
