The Skin I Live In. Oh those crazy Spanish People I won't say the plot because I physically cannot write it out without spoiling it for you all, however, a disturbing masterpiece which takes you on a ride in which your left wondering what on earth you just watched. Antonio Banderas shows his true acting range, as he plays a surgeon with a pinch of crazy. Going from your loveable Puss in Boots to a sinister role, can stand a testament to the capabilities this man possesses. The storyline itself is easy to follow, I think anyway, and I much prefer the gradual plot twist over the sudden one, as it allows the audience to piece it together themselves. Even i found myself shouting out 'NOOOOO' in a shocked manner once I had figured it out. Overall, I was left questioning how on earth the writers came up with such a storyline, and then for it to be agreed and then produced. Some disturbing scenes also leave you feeling all tingly (in a bad way) due to the sensitive nature which isn't always a plus for me, but they are completely relevant to the film Verdict: I appreciate the skin I live in
