Josie (Rachael Leigh Cook), Melody (Tara Reid) and Val (Rosario Dawson) are three small-town girl musicians determined to take their rock band out of their garage and straight to the top, while remaining true to their look, style and sound. They get a record deal which brings fame and fortune but soon realize they are pawns of two people who want to control the youth of America. They must clear their names, even if it means losing fame and fortune. This movie is a feisty drama that i have to admit got a bit boring but towards the end it picked up and i started really taking a good option about this movie rather than wondering when it was going to end and it shows that sometimes if you really want something YOU! have to start opening doors in order for them to open.My favorite character was Mel/Melody(Tara Reid) because she was so happy and childish but at the same time she was creative and funny and had a really big imagination but i would rate this movie for 10+ because of some of the language used in the movie wasn't appropriate for -10 but it was happy ending
