Every essential blues and soul musician takes a turn to help Jake and Elwood save their former orphanage, in this hilarious deadpan comedy.

This is one of my favorite films. I own this on Video Cassette! I love the cameos from Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, James Brown and other icons from the mid-late 20th century music industry. The two greatest things about this film are the music and the story. Focusing on Jake and Elwood Blues, follow them on their journey to reunite the "Old Band" and play one big show to raise money for an orphanage about to be closed. expect surprises from Twiggy and Carrie Fisher too. 5 Stars.
