Handsomely gothic, fast paced and beautifully acted, genre master Terence Fisher's old-fashioned chiller is a real classic of horror cinema.

The Hound Of The Baskervilles is a mysterious yet clever film which slowly reveals the mysterious nature of all the characters in a way which makes you feel as though you were unravelling the mystery yourself. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson are a famous mystery solving duo who dare to go the extra mile to solve whatever people throw at them. When they hear about the story of The Hounds Of Baskerville from a troubled doctor they immediately agree to protect the new heir of the Baskerville estate Sir Henry, but its not easy. This dark film [Which was a horror film of its time.] still lives up to its eerie glory which adults will remember from when they were younger. It is a puzzling film which may baffle many people with its complex plot and with the manor of speaking. This is definitely 11+. This is a great watch and I will probably suggest to watch it over Christmas as it will probably be on TV then.
